and now for the challenge!

Good morning ladies! 

First, I want to thank the gals that played along with my challenge last month...Thank you!  Your creations were awesome and it was really cool to know that people are here reading this and willing to participate. 

Second, I hope that we can have a few more players!  So please encourage your friends to play along and remind them that there's an awesome pack of Rusty Pickle products up for grabs!

Last month it was pretty simple, right?  I asked you to be inspired by the layout that I had created and incorporate something in your project.  This month though, while it's sort of along the same lines, there's a bit more too it.   

Please visit one of my favorite online communities, My Scrapbook Nook and find a gallery that you love.   Once you have found one pick 2 or 3 layouts that you really like.  It could be the design that draws you to them or maybe it's how she mixes elements, whatever it is I want you to keep those things in mind when you go to create your layout.  Now, I want to encourage you to NOT copy a layout as it is in the gallery.  Take the elements that drew you to your layouts of choice and make them your own. 

For instance, I chose Wendy Mckee's gallery and was inspired by this and this.  I hope that you can see how I incorporated some of her design elements and managed to keep my personal style. 

Now for the details, rules, whatever...

• Your layout/project must be at least 60% Rusty Pickle. 
• I must receive it as an attachment, in my inbox, by midnight (my time) on Monday, February 18th.  That gives you 2 whole weeks to complete it.  Please send it to alyciasanders@gmail.com
• Also, if you don't mind, leave a comment letting me know that you're playing along so that I can know how many submissions to look forward to.

Yay! I got my LO sent to you! The pics are from 2002 (my pre-scrapbooking days) and glossy (which I never get anymore just because they don't make for good pics of LOs), but it's me getting ready for my Bachelorette party - what's better than that to scrap with the Pirate Princess line? LOL!
