an update.

I cannot believe how quickly these first few months of the year have gone by.  Can you believe it's almost April?  Like I said, I'm in utter disbelief. 

A few good things are on their way though, like, exactly 2 weeks from today we'll be picking up our best friends from the airport and heading to the beach for 4 days!  I'm {stoked}! 

Later tonight I'm taking my last final for the term, yay!  And then I'm officially on Spring break...I have a list of projects that I'll be working on all next week so hopefully you'll see some pretty things posted soon.  =) 

Terrance is going to be 9 months old on Sunday.  <---this one gets me everytime, my baby is 3/4 of a year old already.  Yikes!

She is well on her way to walking.  She's been standing (unsupported) more and more these last few days and she walks like a pro when we hold her hand, so anyday now, she'll be crusing all on her own. 

She can wave and its' the cutest thing {ever}.  She LOVES to play patty cake.  I tell ya, there's nothing cuter than a waving, clapping baby.  =) 

She's getting her two front teeth.  {so cute}.

She can feed herself like a pro...when I give her cheerios or peas or whatever on her high chair tray it's reminiscent of hungry, hungry hippos.  She's grabbing as fast as she possibly can with both hands and shoveling it in her mouth as equally as fast.  1 of 12 (rough estimate) reach the target, so I guess "pro" is an overstatement.  But, she's smart enough to know that once she's finished the ones on her tray she  can dig the ones out from around her in her chair.  =)

She's continuing to expand her vocabulary and is almost saying dad and bye, bye.

We had our pictures taken at JC Penney over the weekend.  These are a few of the low resolution ones that they've uploaded to the internet for us.  They turned out okay.  I'm not completely satisfied with them as there wasn't a single picture that captured Terrance's great smile.  But she really wasn't in the greatest of moods and for some reason her eyes were a bit irritated and she had been rubbing them all morning so they ended up being a bit red and swollen in the pictures. poor thing.  I took her the the pediatrician Monday morning (I was thinking she may have seasonal allergies) but I was told that she probably just got something (food, slobber, etc.) in them and not too worry too much.       

 

Oh, and both commenters were right.  My all time favorite band is The Beatles!  But,  Pomaika'i guessed first so she wins the awesome Rusty Pickle RAK!  Thanks gals.  =)

Beautiful pictures! We have some from when DS was a baby, from Pennys too! I still have them in frames in the house! It's great that you guys joined her in the shoot too!
