My precious little girl was only 5 days old in these pictures.  It really seems like yesterday that we brought her home from the hospital.

Shortly after you were born you took the infamous newborn poop. Once your dad and I realized it, or more so saw it oozing out of your tiny little diaper we looked at each other like, "whoa."  Your dad didn't even hesitate though.  He jumped right up and found the diapers and wipes and started to change you.  Shortly into it though we realized that this poop wasn't coming off easily.  You needed a bath.  Your father and I, however, had never given a baby a bath and we really weren't sure how to go about it.  We called the nurse in and she whipped you out of your clothes in less than a second and had you in a warm bath and clean in no time.  And so this was our lesson on how to give our baby a bath and it really didn't seem that hard after all.  A few days after we were home from the hospital I gave you your first bath there and it was a cinch.

Wow, how amazing isn't it how babies grow into little people so fast! What a great LO! Love the little "fig leaf" LOL! I remember that poop! yikes!
