There's nothing like coming home and sleeping in your own bed!
Okay, so we got home Sunday afternoon and were absolutely exhausted. It was a very, very long weekend. Here's a quick recap:
- It rained the entire time we were there (except the day we left, of course).
- Terrance and I got sick the day before we went to the beach so we were stuck inside pretty much the entire trip.
- We took a trip to the Tillamook Cheese Factory and got ice cream, yum! I was, however, with out my camera and missed out on some photo ops.
- The boys beared the stinging rain for a few hours Saturday afternoon and returned with crabs for dinner.
- There was a small island near those three rocks that sea lions slept on all day and we watched with bionaculars. I tried to get a picture but my camera couldn't zoom far enough to get a decent one. Damn!
- Our mornings were early and our nights were late and Joe and I were very sleep deprived. The other boys and Terrance managed to sneak in a few naps through out the days, lucky ducks.
- Because the weather was so crappy, we've decided that next year we're taking it South to Florence where there are dune buggies and miniature golf! And we're postponing the trip until a Summer month.
- Oh, and while the boys were crabbing Terrance and I went thrift store shopping and picked up some awesome vintage ribbons and lace for a very good price! Cute, huh?
Anyways, I'm so glad to be home and back into my routine. Funny how a few days off can totally throw you for a loop when it comes to getting back into the swing of things.
Oh, have you seen the movie, "Dan in Real Life"? If you haven't, you should! It is so sweet and has the BEST ending ever! It's all about love...and I LOVE love and all things that encourage it. =)
Have a happy one!
Love the collage!

Welcome back! Oh so sorry it rained, typical PNW weather! We're getting the freezing rain still! YUCK!
What an awesome find, you can make some really great projects with that beautiful lace!
Hope you and T are better now!
Take care!
