weeks of school that is. This term has been so absolutely crazy and I can't even tell you how glad I'll be when it's over. And while I will be attending school this summer, I won't be nearly as busy as I'll only be taking 2 classes instead of 4. Finally, I'll have time to scrapbook! Yay! You have no idea how neglected my scrapbooking room has been. The only time I go in there anymore is to do homework...yeah, it sucks. Well, and I am in there at least a few times a month to complete my Rusty Pickle projects, but it's just not enough. I have a week in between terms and I plan on doing nothing (not even my dishes or laundry) but scrapbooking while Terrance is napping. Yay, I can't wait!
Okay, moving on...
It was a really nice day and after T and I were done running errands we went to the park so that she could just run. And run she did. This little girl of mine is such a little adventurer. She takes off and never ever looks back to see where I am. She spends the first few minutes looking around for something to put in each hand, usually a leaf or a rock sometimes a twig or branch, today it was 2 chunks of wood. Once she had them she ran up and down the sidewalk and around and then up and down again and back around...yelling the entire time. She's very vocal these days and makes the funniest "monster," "monkey," and "dinosaur" noises, as we call them. She's also very social...usually running after anyone and their dog that passes us. And if they happen to be going in the opposite direction as her, she stops, pivots on one foot, and then follows them for as long as she can keep up.
This is probably my favorite picture that I took today and I can guarantee you'll be seeing it on a layout soon...I hope. =)
Oh, and did you know that she turned 11 months old on Friday? Crazy!! I'm getting excited though for her to turn 1 because I'll finally be done breastfeeding! I've heard of people breastfeeding for nearly 3 years and I (after doing it for a year) do not know how those women did it. Kudos to me though for doing it as long as I have and, in a month there will be no more leaky boobs or nursing pads for me!
Speaking of breastfeeding and all things baby: my sister is pregnant! She's about 7 weeks and is due somewhere around January 9th. She's crazy and is desperately hoping for twin boys. She had her first ultrasound and exam last week and the doctor told her that her uterus was "unusually big for 7 weeks," so you never know, she may just get her wish.
And with that, I'm out. I'm exhausted and am in desperate need of foot bath and a glass of wine.
Happy day.
Wow...time sure does fly!!! Look how big she is!! Great shot!! and love the one of you and hubby!!!
