I stayed up way past my bedtime lastnight to finish this layout.
With T turning a year old I have been going through her baby pictures and have been wanting to scrap more of them. I really haven't done too many of them and surprisingly I haven't done a single one of her as a "newborn." And her album really needs a newborn layout in it so, here it is.
The journaling reads: after 35 hours of labor you were born by cesarean and came out beautiful and healthy. 7lbs 8oz and 21 1/4 inches long. Welcome to the world baby girl.
Something that I've been trying to do lately is step out of my box as far as design goes. I usually leave my pictures square/rectangular and I feel like I've reached my limit and have done everything that I can with them that shape--circles are the new square and I'm all over it. I know, I know, circles have been in forever already; I'm just late jumping on the band wagon. But it's kind of my thing, being late that is. So, look forward to seeing lots of circles from me in the coming months.
They might even make an appearance in the challenge next month. *smiles* It'll be posted on Monday, July 7th so be sure to check back for it. And as always a great prize from the Rusty Pickle warehouse is up for grabs.
That's such a lovley page! It is totally gorgeous!
