Yeah, I would be talking about myself and the fact that lastnight I bought some Neutrogena micro-mist spray on tan.
Summer has FINALLY arrived and T and I have been spending a lot of time outside during the day. As such my face, arms, shoulders and cleavage (hehe) have been nicely kissed by the sun. My legs, not so much. I'm the type of person that won't bare my legs unless they're tan and so because I never bare them they remain pasty white. It's a vicious cycle...like that one commercial, I can't get a job because I don't have any skills, I don't have any skills because I can't go to school, I can't go to school because I don't have any money, I don't have any money because I can't get a job, blah, blah, blah, have you heard it?
Anywho, the point of my story is this: even after watching the demo video on the Neutorgena website and reading all of the application tips, I still ended up with a horrible looking tan. One leg is literally striped pasty white and oragneish-brown. When I noticed it I laughed hysterically at myself and then tried another application to fill in the blanks. I'll be able to see how I did in a couple of hours, cross your fingers for me.
Oh, and if you have any fake tanning tips, please feel free to share them with me.
p.s. I finished this the other night. It was a layout that I started last year sometime. I literally ripped everything off (except the pictures) and started over with RP products. T was about 2 months old in the pictures (look at those cheeks!)
You're just now pushing back when we put your feet against hard surfaces. You crack me up when you hold your arms down to your side like this.
Hi Alycia, I laughed out loud at your self-tanning issues! Been there, done that! I have since found a self-tanning product that actually works, and works well. It's L'Oreal "Sublime Bronze" Tinted Self-Tanning Lotion. It's awesome. It's a lotion and you simply smooth it evently on to your skin (making sure to go LIGHTLY over knee and ankle areas) and you will have a nice bronze glow in less than an hour. You can use it every day right after you shower to keep a beautiful and natural-looking tan all summer. Plus it has Vitamin E to keep you skin smooth and soft. There is also a special, separate, formula just for your face. Have a great summer!
